I highly recommend Embark Driving School! Passed my test on the first try!! I did all my hours with my driving instructor Afifa who was very clear and concise when teaching me how to drive. She made sure that i was learning and improving with each lesson, whilst also learning how to be a safe driver!! She never pushed me into something i wasnt ready for and had really made sure i knew the fundamentals of what i was doing. If i struggled with something (for example reverse parking) she would go over it with me with props (toy cars, drawing on ipad) so that i could see all the steps visually in order to execute the manoeuvre, which was really helpful as I’m a visual learner. Afifa went above and beyond in preparing me for my driving test, ensuring that i understood everything that i needed to know driving wise to what the testers are looking for also. With all that being said I passed my test WITH FULL MARKS on the first go and I couldnt be more grateful to have been blessed with such a great driving instructor!! Know that youre making a great decision by chosing to learn with this driving school!

I’m beyond lucky to have found Afifa. As a slightly older student, I had so much anxiety about driving that had piled up over the years. Afifa has a very gentle and straightforward approach, explains all the important details. I had a lesson with another instructor from a different company who assumed that because I’m 28 I will automatically know what to do (which is very much not the case!). Afifa starts from the basics and I always feel comfortable asking her to repeat things. With her It’s not about just passing the test - it’s about being a safe driver - and that’s what matters most. I had a disappointing experience with Afifa at Embark Driving School. Despite holding a full license from another country, I approached Embark for assistance in converting it to an Australian license. In my opinion, Afifa’s approach was largely ineffective. Her sessions focused excessively on theory with minimal practical driving, and I rarely drove on main roads. Additionally, her frequent distractions and anxious demeanor hindered my confidence. She even mentioned that other customers had similar complaints and canceled their lessons. Given the abundance of 5-star Google reviews for her lessons, I wonder why more unsatisfied customers aren’t sharing their experiences to help the community. Not sharing honest feedback does a disservice to future students. After several unproductive sessions, I switched to a different driving school where the instructor helped me regain confidence and successfully convert my license. I do not recommend this driving school for your lessons and suggest seeking a more effective school to get better value for your time and money. I hope this feedback is taken professionally and used to reflect on and improve your services for future customers.

Started my driving lessons with zero experience with Afifa. I've held my driving license for 4 years but it took a lot of courage for me to drive, was always terrified of the idea that I had to pass a test. I realized when driving with my parents, it's only about if we can get to our destination in one piece. After meeting Afifa she was able to correct my old driving habits and drill in safety measures, allowing me to be confident with my driving decisions. Afifa is very meticulous when it comes to teaching. If you trust her, and follow what she is teaching, she will ensure that you are ready for the road. She is kind at heart and is friendly as a person, but don't expect her to make you feel all warm and fuzzy when she is instructing you. She won't sugar-coat anything, you will get the feedback right on your face (good and bad). That is Afifa's style of instructing.

Afifa has been an amazing driving instructor, capable of teaching drivers with a little more confidence, and ones who are fresh on the roads. I started my lessons with Afifa when driving was still new to me. With her skill and method of teaching, it was perfect. She gradually builds your confidence, and does not waste a second to correct and empower your understanding of driving, road rules and more importantly, road safety. After only a few lessons, I was ready to confidently drive with even my parents. However, if you are already a slightly experienced driver, possibly preparing for your Provisional 1 driving test, Afifa is extremely familiar with the neighbouring roads. She is highly knowledgeable with regards to the requirements of the exam and the possible routes that may be taken in the exam. Through lessons of confidence building and efficient learning, she is able to help you successfully pass. Thanks to the lessons I had with her, I was able to pass the exam with flying colours. Afifa has been an amazing driving instructor, capable of teaching drivers with a little more confidence, and ones who are fresh on the roads. I started my lessons with Afifa when driving was still new to me. With her skill and method of teaching, it was perfect. She gradually builds your confidence, and does not waste a second to correct and empower your understanding of driving, road rules and more importantly, road safety. After only a few lessons, I was ready to confidently drive with even my parents. However, if you are already a slightly experienced driver, possibly preparing for your Provisional 1 driving test, Afifa is extremely familiar with the neighbouring roads. She is highly knowledgeable with regards to the requirements of the exam and the possible routes that may be taken in the exam. Through lessons of confidence building and efficient learning, she is able to help you successfully pass. Thanks to the lessons I had with her, I was able to pass the exam with flying colours. I had first heard of Afifa from a few of my friends, because they all had her as an instructor. From then, I have been proactively recommending her to a few of my other friends as well. If anyone were to ask me for a driving instructor, I would undoubtedly recommend Afifa.

Afifa has an in-depth knowledge of all road rules, and will make sure that you know exactly what you're meant to be doing in any given situation. She is both warm and honest as an instructor, and will help you nail out any bad driving habits you may have picked up, so that you are absolutely ready and confident for the P's Test. She was more than willing to give me advice and answer any questions I had, even after my lessons with her had finished. I passed my P's test first time because of her instruction, and I would fully recommend Afifa as a driving instructor for any learner.

Afifa did the impossible, which was to teach me how to drive. Apparently, I had traumatic experience attempting to learn how to drive as a teenager that I decided to take public transportation all these years. We can never be sure of the quality of instructions imparted by a driving school so when searching the internet for a driving school, I had only 2 things in mind for selecting one: 1. Reasonable rates and 2. Presence in my suburb Embark Driving School met these criteria and I signed up with them.
